How the electric fence works

The fence tape has two electrically conductive contact strips, through which electrical impulses pass at short intervals. The impulses are generated in a power source powered by a battery with a voltage of 9V. The moment a slug creates a connection between the two contact strips, its body becomes a good electrical conductor and it receives a small electric shock, which forces it to turn back and thus prevents it from crossing the second strip. This principle of the electric fence against slugs protects the garden or flower bed from slugs without chemical sprays.
