<span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif";">Electric storage water heater HK BG 100v<span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif";"> by HAKL, with a water volume of 100 litres. It belongs to the product line of pressure storage tanks with a steel tank. In a vertical design with a cylindrical shape, which is why the water heating temperature control and the heater's connection outlets are located on the bottom side of the housing. The package of HAKL BGv storage water heaters also includes a safety valve and a universal bracket for hanging the heater.
The long service life of the tank is guaranteed by a double layer of titanium enamel and a built-in anode rod. The factory-fitted thermal fuse ensures a higher level of protection of the heating element against overheating in critical situations. The frost protection function prevents the water in the heater from freezing and thus prevents damage to the tank. The thermostat set in this way does not activate the heating element at normal temperature, but in case of a significant drop in room temperature it safely protects the heater against freezing.

Features:
• installation possible only with outlets facing downwards,
• protection of the steel tank with double titanium enamel,
• excellent thermal insulation properties of the tank,
• thermal fuse preventing overheating of the heating element,
• frost protection fuse against freezing of water in the tank,
• anode rod extending the service life of the tank,
• adjustable thermostat with heating indicator,
• safety valve with check valve included in the package,
• universal bracket for hanging the heater.

Parameters:
Power input: 2 kW.
Voltage: 230 V.
Fuse protection: 10 A.
Volume: 120 l.
Protection rating: IP X4.
Pressure operation: yes.
Max. continuous water pressure: 6 bar.
Min. switching pressure: 0.2 bar.
Switching type: thermostatic.
Manual power switching: no.
Automatic power control: no.
Electricity consumption measurement: no.
Water consumption measurement: no.
Thermal protection: yes.
Second stage of thermal protection: no.
Heating indicator: yes.
Water temperature display: yes.
Connection outlet spacing: 120 mm.
Connection threads: 1/2" external.
Heating time to 40°C: 3h 14 min.
Heat loss at 60°C: 1.52 kWh.
Insulation thickness: 38 mm.
Frost protection fuse: yes.
Product includes power cable: no.
Cable terminated with plug: no.
Type of connection cable: ---
Length of connection cable: ---
Net weight: 36.1 kg.
Gross weight: 38.9 kg.
Product dimensions (h x w x d): 112.2x44x46 cm.
Box dimensions (h x w x d): 121.5x50x50 cm.

<span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 16.1px; font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif";">Suitability table - see image
<span style="font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif"; font-size: 10.5pt;">To make it easier to choose the right model of storage water heater, the manufacturer has prepared a clear suitability table. It is sorted by tank volume and type of use - demand for water consumption.
<span style="font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif"; font-size: 10.5pt;">Electric storage water heaters heat water using a 2 kW heating element. Such a low power input is possible thanks to the fact that the water is heated by accumulation in the tank. Their main advantage is connection to the mains via a plug and low fuse protection requirements. Unlike instantaneous water heaters, however, only a limited amount of hot water in the tank can be used. The water heating in the tank can be set to the desired temperature. The higher the temperature, the more water can be diluted with cold water, achieving a larger total volume of water. However, it should be noted that a higher set temperature also means higher operating costs.
<span style="font-family: Verdana, "sans-serif"; font-size: 10.5pt;">When choosing a storage water heater, the method of use must be taken into account. For example, showering requires heating up to three times as much water as washing hands, so it is necessary to choose the correct volume of the storage water heater.
Product rating
