Electric storage water heater with thermostatic switching and pressurised operation BG 2kW, vertical design, 2kW output, 80l
Code: INT_HK BG 80VProduct detailed description

Electric storage water heater HK BG 80v by HAKL, with a water volume of 80 litres. Part of the pressurised storage heater range with a steel tank. In a vertical design with a cylindrical shape, the water temperature control and connection outlets are located on the bottom of the casing. The package for HAKL BGv storage water heaters also includes a safety valve and a universal mounting bracket.

Long tank life is ensured by a double layer of titanium enamel and a built-in anode rod. A factory-fitted thermal fuse provides an additional level of protection against overheating of the heating element in critical situations. The frost-protection fuse function prevents the water in the heater from freezing, thus preventing damage to the tank. This thermostat setting does not switch on the heating element at normal room temperature, but safely protects the heater from freezing if the room temperature drops significantly.

Features:
• installation possible only with outlets facing down,
• protection of the steel tank by double titanium enamel,
• excellent thermal insulation properties of the tank,
• thermal fuse preventing overheating of the heating element,
• frost-protection fuse against freezing of water in the tank,
• anode rod extending the life of the tank,
• adjustable thermostat with heating indicator,
• safety valve with check valve included in the package,
• universal bracket for hanging the heater.

Parameters:
Power input: 2 kW. This low power input is possible because the water is heated and stored in the tank in advance. Their main advantage is connection to the mains via a plug and low fuse rating. Unlike instant water heaters, only a limited amount of hot water in the tank can be used. The water temperature in the tank can be set as required - the higher the temperature, the more the water can be diluted with cold water, giving a larger total volume of usable water. Note that a higher set temperature also means higher operating costs.

When choosing a storage water heater, the intended use should be taken into account. For example, showering requires heating up to three times as much water as washing hands, so it is important to choose the correct storage heater volume.
Product rating
