The Milano 40L model shares a 34 x 34 cm footprint with the smaller 30-litre type, but with a height of 75 cm and a weight of 13.2 kg it offers a significantly larger supply of hot water, covering showering, the kitchen, and the bathroom sink in a household of 2 to 3 people without long waits between draws. The water and electricity connections are on the bottom of the tank.

The enamelled steel tank (min. 0.35 mm enamel) is protected against corrosion by a magnesium anode ø20x200 mm, sized for the larger water volume. Heating to 25-75 °C is controlled by a rotary thermostat, and a thermal fuse at 93 °C ± 3 °C ensures safe operation of the 2000 W output in energy class B. IPX4 protection rating and a 0.6 MPa safety valve are part of the standard equipment.
