Epoxy insulation board FR4 (0.5 × 1000 × 1000 mm) – Maximum protection for your LiFePO4 cells. Are you building your own battery system? Don't underestimate insulation. This ultra-thin yet extremely durable epoxy board is a key safety element of every professional LiFePO4 battery. When assembling prismatic (box-type) cells, they slightly expand and contract during charging cycles. Without adequate insulation between the aluminum cell casings, there is a risk of tearing the blue insulation film and a subsequent catastrophic short circuit. Our epoxy board made of FR4 material is designed exactly for this purpose.
Why choose this insulation board? - Extreme electrical strength: FR4 material has excellent dielectric properties. Even at a thickness of only 0.5 mm, it provides a 100% barrier against breakdown between cells.
- Mechanical stability and abrasion protection: The aluminum cell casings must not rub against each other. The epoxy board acts as a mechanical separator that can withstand the pressures arising from compressing cells in the battery box.
