The CTO-20B replacement filter cartridge with compressed activated carbon absorbs impurities from water.
Activated carbon filters are used to limit and/or remove unwanted odor, taste, organic compounds and chlorine residues. They also remove potentially hazardous contaminants such as: radon gas, hydrogen sulfide, many dissolved organic chemicals and trihalomethanes.
