Filter JUNIOR 7" DOSAPROP + cartridge, 1" connection is designed to protect against limescale and corrosion for both household and industrial installations. Use: Household use - protection of water pipes, taps, showers, washing machines, boilers. Technical use - protection of heating systems, heat exchangers, reverse osmosis units, protection of industrial water systems and other installations. Properties: Protection against limescale and corrosion. System with proportional polyphosphate dosing based on the Venturi effect principle. Polyphosphate dosing in accordance with EU Regulation 98/83/CE for drinking water. Average lifespan: around 6 months. Maintenance: none. Polyphosphate crystals prevent limescale deposits, gradually dissolve existing limescale coatings and form a thin anti-corrosion protective film on the inner walls of metal equipment. Polyphosphate does not soften water, since minerals are not removed from the water, but it does prevent limescale deposits. For use in drinking water treatment, polyphosphate crystals may only be used in combination with the DOSAPROP proportional dosing filter. The cartridge must be replaced no later than after 6 months (after which it loses effectiveness, becomes sticky and risks clumping) or when it has decreased by more than half.
