WIGELL Floor Heating Manifold, 2 circuits, brass + automatic air vent
Code: JEZ_WG01.0310601Product detailed description
The underfloor heating manifold is the main component for evenly distributing heat in underfloor heating systems. Manifold variants include different numbers of circuits, usually from 2 to 18, and are compatible with underfloor heating pipes with diameters of 16–20 mm.
The Wigell manifolds can be mounted directly on the wall or, using the supplied brackets, into a manifold cabinet. The mounting position is arbitrary. Using compression fittings, you can connect PeX-AL-PeX or Pe-rt pipes to this manifold.
Product parameters
- Permissible liquid temperatures: - 10 °C to 120 °C
- Max. working pressure: 4 - 6 bar
- Max. test pressure: 10 bar
- Measuring range: 0-5 l/min
- Flow rate: 1.12 m3/h
- Inlet and outlet connection: 1"
- Flow meters: dual-regulation, lockable
Advantages of Wigell manifolds
- Every manifold undergoes a pressure test, which ensures its reliability and long service life.
- You can choose a manual or automatic air vent.
- The cabinet size is precisely determined for the given number of circuits and fits perfectly.
- Control valves can be chosen in two variants with thermometer preparation, either angled or straight.
- The manifold is equipped with control valves, flow meters and air vents.
Video on the pressure test
This manifold set consists of
Heating water body:
- flow meters terminated with a nipple and a PEX 3/4 x 16 coupling
- venting and draining unit with an automatic air vent (a key-operated air vent can also be used)
Return water body:
- thermostatic valves M30 x 1.5 - possibility of mounting thermal actuators
- nipples with mounted PEX 3/4 x 16 couplings
- venting and draining unit with automatic air vent
Flow meter:
It is used to set the flow rate of the heating water in l/min and thereby balance the pressure differences of individual heating circuits. Depending on the direction in which you turn the lower part of the flow meter, you decrease or increase the flow of heating water, or shut it off completely. On the transparent part of the flow meter, the water level shows the water flow in l/min. Max. operating pressure is 1 MPa.
Thermostatic valve inserts with manual heads are used to shut off individual heating circuits. These manual heads do not allow individual branches to be regulated. The manual heads can be removed and replaced with electric actuators.
Venting and draining unit:
Used to vent the heating system. The air vent valve of this unit is automatic, but it can be replaced with a key-operated air vent valve.
What else to buy for the air vent?
Additional accessories are needed for correct installation. Below, select the connection components that are fully compatible with this manifold:
- Recessed and surface-mounted manifold cabinets
- Mixing sets (WILO pump + ESBE valve) - for variants without a built-in pump
- Ball valves for connection without a circulation pump
- Compression fittings
When laying the pipes, we also recommend purchasing:
- Underfloor heating pipes
- Underfloor heating foils
- Clips for securing the underfloor pipes
- Staple guns and pipe reelers
- Expansion tapes for the wall
Packaging and delivery method
We will deliver the product to you by standard parcel shipping and it will be packaged so as to prevent damage during transport. The actual packaging method depends on the number of pieces ordered and other order items. A standalone manifold will most commonly be packed in a cardboard box and stretch film.
