Excellent Baltic peat is characterized by minimal decomposition, high organic matter content, good permeability and the ability to effectively retain water. It is used for the production of peat substrates as well as for growing acid-loving plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons, heathers and blueberries. For other plants, the desired pH value should be achieved by adding hydrated lime. Peat added to the soil improves its structure and overall permeability, which is beneficial for both light sandy and heavy clay soils. The product does not contain fertilizers, which should be applied according to the needs of the plants being grown.

Packaging: 80l/bag.

Composition: highland peat; pH: 3.5 - 4.2; salt content <0.5g NaCl/dm3.

Storage: in a cool, shaded place.

Health and safety rules: Standard hygiene and safety principles must be observed. Protective gloves should be used during work, and hands should be thoroughly washed after finishing work.

First aid: In case of eye contact or ingestion, seek medical attention.

Packaging disposal method: We recommend handing over the packaging to organized secondary raw material collection

Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored in original packaging.

80l of peat is enough for:

8 m2 at a 1 cm layer,
4 m2 at a 2 cm layer,
2 m2 at a 4 cm layer;
