Description:
Hoštický compost is an organic fertilizer produced by composting organic components (grass, leaves, bark…). It contains no sewage sludge or other risky materials. Hoštický compost supplies the soil with organic matter, basic and trace nutrients. It increases the humus content in the soil, supports soil microorganisms and improves the physical and chemical properties of the soil.
It significantly reduces nutrient leaching into groundwater. It corrects undesirable acidic soil pH (not suitable for acid-loving plants).
It is used to enrich the soil with organic matter and supplement nutrients when establishing vegetable, garden and fruit growing areas.
