Profík – substrate for chili peppers and peppers is made from a mixture of sorted light and dark peat, perlite, finely crushed zeolite and a clay component. The substrate is fertilized with a combination of organic and mineral fertilizer and enriched with sea algae. The organic fertilizer contains all major nutrients as well as trace elements. The mineral fertilizer supplies plants with nitrogen and water-soluble calcium. The soil reaction is adjusted with finely ground dolomitic limestone.
Advantages of the substrate:
The composition of the substrate ensures good air access to the roots as well as very good retention of water and nutrients.
Perlite provides high aeration of the substrate, lightens it and regulates soil moisture.
Finely crushed zeolite improves water management, helps fix ammonium nitrogen, and thanks to its high ability to bind nutrients, reduces the possibility of their loss through leaching
the content of clay particles helps retain water, bind nutrients and stabilize pH
the organic fertilizer used is in the form of microgranules, which ensures a much more effective distribution of the fertilizer in the substrate.
