Description:
The garden substrate is made from a mixture of sorted light and black bog peat with the addition of NPK mineral fertilizer and compost. Due to its unique composition, it maintains the looseness and airiness of soils and thus guarantees good growth, rich root and flower formation in all types of plants. By retaining sunlight, it allows better use of heat for plant growth, speeds up rooting and helps retain moisture.
Use:
The garden substrate is used for planting flowers and vegetables, planting ornamental and fruit shrubs, trees in the garden, as well as for planting flowers in containers. To improve soil structure, the substrate can be worked into the soil or mixed with soil in a 1:1 ratio. When planting in containers, cover the drainage holes with stone shards. Pour a little substrate into the bottom of the container, plant the plant and add another part of the substrate. Lightly press it against the root ball and finally fill it in so that the top layer remains loose. When planting in beds, add the substrate to the desired height, or remove the exhausted soil and replace it with the substrate. After planting, water the plant. After 6 weeks (after the fertilizer supply in the substrate has been used up), start with regular fertilizing. It is not suitable for acid-loving plants, nor for plant propagation or plants sensitive to a higher nutrient content.
