The IQ-E frequency converter maintains constant pressure in the system by regulating the pump speed. It is an intelligent pump controller, easy to use, that maintains the set water pressure by changing the speed of the pump motor. The IQ-E model has several operating modes and adapts to different electrical systems. The frequency converter's control unit evaluates the situation via the pressure sensor and starts the pump. The pump speed is regulated so that constant pressure is maintained in the system even as demand changes. To put it more simply, this means that the frequency converter runs the pump at, for example, 17% at low demand, at 57% when water demand increases, and at 97% at high demand. The converter current and dry-run protection are pre-set. The pump is stopped, started, and has its pressure increased or decreased easily and quickly by the frequency converter whenever needed. The frequency converter comes with a connected cable with a plug, a connected pressure sensor, and a power cable. A built-in soft-start and soft-stop function limits water hammer. (The water hammer effect means a sudden increase in pressure when liquid flow is stopped or started quickly.) Comprehensive protection: The system is equipped with overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and short-circuit protection, impeller lock protection, and dry-run protection without the need to install sensors in the borehole.
