Arched greenhouse LEGI Basil Profi with dimensions of 2 m x 3 m and a height of 2.10 m made of polycarbonate is manufactured from galvanized steel tubes 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The advantage of the Basil Profi greenhouse is that no welding is used during its production. A special technology is used to connect the arches, allowing for a quick and efficient connection of the tubes to each other.

Structure

LEGI Basil Profi is made of galvanized steel tubes with a thickness of 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The glazing / cladding of the greenhouse is made of clear hollow (chamber) polycarbonate with a thickness of 4 mm with UV protection, which has improved thermal insulation properties compared to commonly sold greenhouses. The polycarbonate is resistant to UV radiation and ordinary hail. It is attached to the greenhouse structure using pressure discs. The polycarbonate meets all health safety requirements. The polycarbonate comes with a 3-year warranty against hail damage. If you choose the variant with a wider PROFI 6mm glazing, you get a 10-year warranty on the polycarbonate.

The greenhouse has one front door and two ventilation windows. The greenhouse can also be supplemented with Guttagarden blocks, from which you can create a path in the middle of the greenhouse.

Deciding between 4 mm or 6 mm polycarbonate?

With 6 mm polycarbonate, the greenhouse of course has greater overall resistance to weather conditions. At the same time, thermal insulation properties are improved by approximately 20-30%. However, the greenhouse with 6 mm polycarbonate naturally comes at a higher price, specifically about 20% more. However, if you don't live on mountain ridges or grow very demanding plants in the greenhouse, the 4 mm glazing variant is often sufficient.

Assembly

We offer the greenhouse in four sizes, or rather in four lengths: 2, 4, 6 or 8 meters. The width of the greenhouse is always 3 meters. It is also possible to purchase an extension module with a length of 2 m. The garden greenhouse LEGI Basil Profi is delivered as a kit. Assembly is not difficult and anyone can manage it. The front and rear parts of the greenhouse are assembled using the KRAB system. This guarantees extreme strength of the frame profiles. Thanks to the materials used and the way they are connected, a very stable structure of the greenhouse is created without the need to build foundations. M5 screws are used to connect the profiles.

Each shipment consists of a box with material, a package of profiles with the base, a package of profiles with arches (all these packages state how many m² of the greenhouse they cover) and the corresponding number of polycarbonate panels with dimensions of 6 × 2.1 m. One piece is always used for cutting the front parts, the other panels are not cut - they are intended to cover the arches.
