The arched greenhouse LEGI Basil Profi with dimensions of 2 m x 3 m and a height of 2.10 m made of polycarbonate is manufactured from galvanized steel tubes 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The advantage of the Basil Profi greenhouse is that no welding is used during its production. A special technology which allows fast and efficient joining of the tubes together is used for connecting the arches.

Construction

LEGI Basil Profi is made of galvanized steel tubes with a thickness of 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The glazing / cladding of the greenhouse is made of clear hollow (chamber) polycarbonate with a thickness of 4 mm with UV protection, which has improved thermal insulation properties compared to commonly sold greenhouses. The polycarbonate is resistant to UV radiation as well as ordinary hail. It is attached to the greenhouse structure using pressure discs. The polycarbonate meets all health safety requirements. The polycarbonate comes with a 3-year warranty against hail damage. If you choose the variant with wider PROFI 6mm glazing, you get a 10-year warranty on the polycarbonate.

The greenhouse has one front door and two ventilation windows. The greenhouse can additionally be complemented with Guttagarden blocks, from which you can create a path in the middle of the greenhouse.

Deciding between 4 mm or 6 mm polycarbonate?

With 6 mm polycarbonate, the greenhouse naturally has greater overall resistance to weather effects. At the same time, thermal insulation properties increase by roughly 20-30%. Of course, this comes with a higher price of the greenhouse with 6 mm polycarbonate, specifically about 20% more. However, if you do not live on mountain ridges or do not grow very demanding plants in the greenhouse, the 4 mm glazing variant is often sufficient.

Assembly

The greenhouse is offered in four sizes, i.e. in four lengths of 2, 4, 6 or 8 meters. The width of the greenhouse is always 3 meters. An extension module with a length of 2 m can also be purchased. The garden greenhouse LEGI Basil Profi is supplied as a kit. Assembly is not overly demanding and anyone can manage it. The front and rear parts of the greenhouse are assembled using the KRAB system. This guarantees extreme strength of the frame profiles. Thanks to the materials used and the way they are joined, a very stable structure of the greenhouse is created without the need to build foundations. M5 screws are used to connect the profiles.

Each shipment consists of a box with material, a package of profiles with the base, a package of profiles with arches (all of these packages state the number of m² of greenhouse contained) and the corresponding number of polycarbonate panels measuring 6 × 2.1 m. One piece is always used for cutting the front parts, the other panels are not cut - they are intended to cover the arches.
