Arched greenhouse LEGI Basil Profi measuring 2 m x 3 m with a height of 2.10 m made of polycarbonate is manufactured from galvanized steel tubes 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The advantage of the Basil Profi greenhouse is that no welding is used in its production. A special technology is used to join the arches, allowing fast and efficient connection of the tubes together.

Construction

LEGI Basil Profi is made of galvanized steel tubes with a thickness of 20 x 20 mm, which meet extremely high quality standards. The glazing / cladding of the greenhouse is made of clear twin-wall (multi-wall) polycarbonate with a thickness of 4 mm with UV protection, which has improved thermal insulation properties compared to commonly sold greenhouses. The polycarbonate is resistant to UV radiation and common hail. It is attached to the greenhouse frame using pressure discs. The polycarbonate meets all health safety requirements. The polycarbonate comes with a 3-year warranty against hail damage. If you choose the version with a wider PROFI 6mm glazing, you get a 10-year warranty on the polycarbonate.

The greenhouse has a single front door and two ventilation windows. The greenhouse can also be complemented with Guttagarden blocks, from which you can create a path in the middle of the greenhouse.

Deciding between 4 mm or 6 mm polycarbonate?

With 6 mm polycarbonate, the greenhouse naturally has greater overall resistance to weather effects. At the same time, thermal insulation properties are improved by approximately 20-30%. Of course, the price of a greenhouse with 6 mm polycarbonate is higher, by about 20%. However, if you don't live on a mountain ridge or grow very demanding plants in your greenhouse, the 4 mm glazing variant is often sufficient.

Assembly

The greenhouse is offered in four sizes, i.e. in four lengths of 2, 4, 6 or 8 meters. The width of the greenhouse is always 3 meters. An extension module 2 m long can also be purchased separately. The LEGI Basil Profi garden greenhouse is supplied as a kit. Assembly is not difficult and anyone can manage it. The front and rear parts of the greenhouse are assembled using the KRAB system. This guarantees extreme strength of the frame profiles. Thanks to the materials used and the way they are joined, a very stable structure of the greenhouse is created without the need to build foundations. M5 screws are used to join the profiles.

Each shipment consists of a box with material, a package of profiles with the base, a package of profiles with arches (each of these packages states how many m² of greenhouse it covers), and the corresponding number of polycarbonate sheets measuring 6 × 2.1 m. One piece is always used for cutting the front pieces, the other sheets are not cut - they are intended to cover the arches.
