The GEL battery series is designed, among other things, for powering photovoltaic systems or vehicles where the battery is exposed to vibrations and charging from pulse sources, e.g. solar controllers. Thanks to its gel electrolyte-based construction, the GEL battery is ideal for cyclic operation even with deep discharges. It achieves several times more discharge cycles compared to batteries made with AGM technology. The designed lifespan is up to 12 years with float operation at 25 °C.
- The GEL battery has a similar structure to an AGM battery, except that in a gel battery the electrolyte is stored in the form of a gel paste. Thanks to this construction, it has better resistance to electrolyte leakage than AGM batteries
- Automatic sealing system. When the pressure inside the battery is too high, the valves open, causing the resulting gas to be safely released outside the casing, preventing damage. This occurs when the battery is overcharged
- The battery case is made of ABS material, the cells are made of copper
