The GETI Emergency Power Supply (EPS) is a device that ensures a source of AC voltage in case of a power outage. The emergency power supply can be used as a backup source for various pumps, automatic boilers, feeders, emergency lighting, camera systems and more. In normal mode, the connected device is powered directly from the mains, and in the event of an outage, the emergency power supply automatically switches to inverter mode. The connected device is then powered from the connected battery. If the power supply is not restored, the emergency power supply may shut down when the voltage of the connected battery drops to around 10.2V ± 0.3V. This is to protect the battery from deep discharge and subsequent damage. The EPS is equipped with a clear color display, a voltage inverter with pure sine wave based on a toroidal transformer, and a fast 32-bit processor.
Warning: the contacts of the connected battery must be suitably protected against: contact by persons, foreign objects, contact with other parts of the system, or short circuit.
