The GETI Emergency Power Supply (EPS) system with a pure sine wave output signal is a device that ensures a source of AC voltage in the event of a power grid outage. The emergency power supply system can be used as a backup source for various pumps, automatic boilers, feeders, emergency lighting, camera systems and more. In normal mode, the connected device is powered directly from the grid, and in the event of an outage, the emergency power supply system automatically switches to inverter mode. The connected device is then powered from the connected battery. If the power supply is not restored, the emergency power supply system may shut down when the connected battery voltage drops to around 10.2V ± 0.3V. This is to protect the battery against deep discharge and subsequent damage. The EPS is equipped with a clear color display, a pure sine wave voltage inverter based on a toroidal transformer, and a fast 32-bit processor.
Warning: the contacts of the connected battery must be suitably protected against: contact by persons, foreign objects, contact with other parts of the system, or short circuit.
