Examples of some phosphates include:

Monosodium phosphate (NaH2PO4): Used in the food industry as a color stabilizer and antioxidant. It is also found in some types of baked goods and desserts.

Disodium phosphate (Na2HPO4): Used as an acidity regulator in foods and beverages, such as biscuits or smoked meats.

Trisodium phosphate (Na3PO4): It is used in the food industry as an emulsifier and stabilizer for cream products and ice cream.

Calcium phosphate (Ca3(PO4)2): It is one of the main minerals in the bones and teeth of the human body. It is also used as a calcium supplement in food products.

Ammonium Phosphate ((NH4)3PO4): Used in fertilizers and agriculture to supply phosphorus to the soil for plants.

Polyphosphates: These are compounds consisting of several phosphate units. They are used in the preparation of meat, dairy products and other foods to improve texture and retain water.

Trisodium phosphate, acidic (Na3HPO4): Used as an acidity corrector and flavor enhancer in foods.

In the food industry, phosphates are used for a variety of purposes such as acidity regulation, color and texture stabilization, flavor enhancement, shelf life extension, and others. In other industries, phosphates can serve as catalysts in chemical reactions, additives in cosmetics, water treatment, and other applications.
