polyurethane foam

Pur foam (polyurethane foam) is a type of insulating material used for thermal insulation and sealing in various applications. It is made of polyurethane polymer and is formed from the reaction between two components - polyol and isocyanate.

Pur foam is known for its high thermal insulation ability due to its low thermal conductivity. It has the ability to effectively prevent the penetration of heat through walls, floors, roofs and other parts of the building, thereby improving the energy efficiency and comfort of the indoor environment.

It is used to insulate walls, roofs, floors, pipes, tubes and other structural elements. Pur foam is applied by spraying, pouring or applying in the form of panels. After application, it expands and hardens, creating a solid and insulating layer.

In addition to thermal insulation, pur foam is also used for sealing and creating airtight and waterproof surfaces. It is able to fill joints, cracks and gaps, thus preventing the penetration of air, water and moisture.

Pur foam exists in different forms and densities, which allows it to be adapted to specific needs and applications. It is important to use it correctly and safely, follow the manufacturer's instructions and ensure adequate ventilation and protective equipment during application.
