PPO

Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) is a polymer composed of the measuring phenylene group, which is used in the production of engineering plastics. It is known for its high temperature resistance, chemical stability and strength. It is combined with various fillers and modifiers to increase its mechanical properties and is used in a wide variety of applications.

PPO is often mixed with polyamide (PA), creating a mixture known as PPO/PA or PPO/nylon. This mixture is known for its excellent heat resistance, mechanical strength and resistance to various chemicals. Therefore, it is often used for the production of car keys, electronic components, various plastic parts and other products that require high resistance to heat and chemicals.

PPO also has the advantage of low densities and excellent electrical insulating ability, which makes it suitable for some electronic and electrical applications.

These properties make PPO an important material in industries where a combination of strength, heat resistance and chemical stability is required.

Examples of use:

Electronics and Electrical Components: PPO is used to manufacture various electronic and electrical components such as enclosures, cabinets, connectors, switches, etc. Its high thermal resistance and electrical insulation make PPO a suitable material for these applications.

Automotive industry: In the automotive industry, PPO is used to make car keys, battery covers, electrical components and other plastic parts. Its ability to withstand high temperatures and chemicals is important in the production of engine and fuel system parts.

Consumer electronics: PPO is also used in the production of consumer electronics, such as televisions, audio equipment, computer peripherals, and the like. Its high heat resistance and heat resistance are important properties in these applications.

Powders and granules: PPO is also used in the form of powders and granules for various engineering applications. These powders and granules are further processed into specific products, such as plastic parts, pipes, pipes and others.

Industrial Applications: PPO is used in industrial applications where high strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance are required. This includes, for example, the production of pumps, valves, screws, threads and other mechanical parts.
