PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The HAKL BD 30v electric storage water heaters with a water volume of 30 litres are suitable for installation in cottages, cabins, and anywhere fast heating with minimal thermal losses of the heated water after the thermostat switches off is needed. The output of the heating element is designed so as not to overload the electrical network, while still allowing prompt heating of the water in the tank. When the thermostat is set to 70 °C, the heater can also be used for showering with a water-saving shower head. Mixing in cold water increases the volume, making it sufficient for one person.
A long service life of the tank is guaranteed by the double layer of titanium enamel and the built-in anode rod. The factory-fitted thermal fuse provides a higher level of protection for the heating element against overheating in critical situations. The frost-protection fuse function prevents the water in the heater from freezing and thus also protects the tank from damage. With the thermostat set this way, the heating element does not switch on at normal room temperature, but in the event of a significant drop in room temperature it safely protects the heater from freezing. The package for HAKL BDv storage water heaters also includes a safety valve.

The manufacturer recommends installing a drain valve, which makes it very easy to drain the water from the heater during maintenance.
