    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    Electric tank water heaters HAKL BG 100v with a water volume of 100 litres. These heaters belong to the product range of pressure tank heaters with a steel tank. The additional designation "V" (BGv) means a vertical (upright) design with a cylindrical shape, which is why the temperature control and connection outlets of the heater are located on the underside of the cover. The package for HAKL BGv tank water heaters also includes a safety valve and a universal bracket for hanging the heater.

     

    A long tank service life is guaranteed by the double layer of titanium enamel and a built-in anode rod. The factory-fitted thermal fuse provides a higher level of protection for the element against overheating in critical situations. The frost-protection fuse function prevents water in the heater from freezing and thus damaging the tank. The thermostat, set this way, will not switch on the element heating at normal room temperature, but in the event of a significant drop in room temperature it will safely protect the heater from freezing.

    The manufacturer recommends installing a drain valve, which makes it very easy to drain the water from the heater during maintenance.

    SUITABILITY TABLE

    To make it easier to choose the right tank water heater model, the manufacturer has prepared a clear suitability table. It is sorted by tank volume and type of use - how demanding the water consumption is.
    Electric tank water heaters heat water using a 2 kW heating element. Such a low power input is possible because the water is heated and stored in the tank. Their main advantage is that they connect to the mains via a plug and require only a low-rated fuse. Unlike instant water heaters, however, only a limited amount of hot water in the tank is available. The water temperature in the tank can be set as required. The higher the temperature, the more the water can be diluted with cold water, achieving a greater total volume of usable water. However, keep in mind that a higher set temperature also means higher operating costs.
    When choosing a tank water heater, the intended use must be taken into account. For example, showering requires heating up to three times as much water as washing hands, so the correct volume of the tank water heater must be selected.
