PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The main advantage of the HAKL OB 500 electric instant water heater tap is its flexible, shapeable spout. This practical feature allows the distance of the water outlet to be adjusted when washing dishes. The tap body made of stainless steel, together with a repeatedly resettable thermal fuse (in a fault condition, without needing to disassemble the tap), give the product remarkable durability. User comfort is enhanced by a zoned active aerator, which automatically closes off the channels depending on the amount of water that has flowed through.
 

WATER HEATER AND TAP IN ONE

Ensuring hot water is not always easy, which is why HAKL has launched a 2-in-1 product – a water heater and a tap at the same time. 

The heating element output (3.3 kW) is sufficient for everyday hand washing, washing dishes and small household items. The HAKL OB 500 instant water heater tap only needs to be connected to the cold water supply and plugged into the electrical socket.

FLEXIBLE SPOUT

The surface of the spout is made of high-quality, durable neoprene foam, which, besides its attractive look, also has good insulating properties, so you will not burn yourself when handling the spout.

AERATOR - WATER SAVING

The function of the aerator - the water director - is very important. Even at a very low flow rate it can create a sufficient volume of water,  it "aerates" the water and visually increases its flow. 
With the standard aerator supplied, water savings reach up to approx. 70%. The manufacturer also offers an aerator with a higher flow rate, which achieves savings of approx. 50%.  This aerator is recommended if the instant water heater tap is installed in a water system with higher water pressure. 
 

RESETTABLE THERMAL FUSE

In the event of a fault condition (e.g. air in the water pipe), the thermal fuse cuts off the power supply, protecting the heating element from burning out.
The thermal fuse does not need to be replaced at a service centre; it just needs to be manually reset to operating condition.

UNIVERSAL CONNECTION ABOVE AND BELOW THE SINK

The HAKL OB 500 instant water heater tap can be connected to the electrical socket above or below the sink without needing to remove the supply cable.
All you need to do is change the mounting reducer, which is included in the package.
