PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The HAKL PL instant water heater starts automatically when the hot water valve (tap) on the mixer is turned. The heater has no built-in tank; it heats water instantly and continuously, and electricity is consumed only while hot water is running. A red light on the front cover indicates that heating is switched on.
Due to its design and dimensions, it is intended for only one point of use, for example a kitchen sink, washbasin… Installation is only possible on a special HAKL unpressurized water tap. The wide range of taps supplied together with accessories (seals, reducers, heater bracket…) allow for a simple, convenient and quick installation. The instant heater is mechanically protected against burnout of the heating coil, and overall overheating of the heating system is prevented by hydraulic protection.
HEATER WIRING
Connection of the HAKL PL electric instant water heater to an unpressurized (three-way) pedestal HAKL water tap. HAKL pedestal unpressurized taps differ from ordinary water taps in that they connect to three hoses.
Taps designed this way disconnect the heater from the pressure in the water system once the hot or cold water valve (tap) is closed. The heater is therefore not permanently stressed by water pressure, which extends its service life.
