PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Electric underfloor heating mats HAKL TFX 150 have an output of 150 W per square metre and a standard strip width of 0.5 m. They connect to the electrical mains using a single connecting cable 3 metres long. For the most efficient operation, it is advisable to install a HAKL TH thermostat with a floor sensor in each room. Energy savings, and therefore cost savings, are also achieved by choosing the right floor covering and sufficient thermal insulation under the underfloor heating. Thanks to maintenance-free operation, HAKL underfloor heating meets even the most demanding requirements for quality and comfort.
Before installation, the manufacturer recommends reading the installation manual carefully, where you will find a detailed description of the product and its wiring.

FLOOR STRUCTURE
Heating mats HAKL TFX 150 are designed for wet installation, embedded in adhesive mortar directly under the floor covering. With this floor structure, so-called "DIRECT HEATING". The heating mat is placed between the floor covering and the thermal insulation, resulting in a fast heating start-up. It is therefore recommended for temporarily used spaces, or for renovations where there is not enough room to raise the floor level.

HEATING CABLE
The heating cables HAKL TFX feature a high-quality heating core - the resistance wire comes from the renowned Swedish manufacturer KANTHAL. The sheath of the heating cable is made of highly heat-resistant material, with a total cable thickness of 3 mm, which does not deform even under prolonged heating. When the underfloor heating is connected without a thermostat, the heating cable heats up to a maximum of 65°C, while its melting point is up to 1100 °C.
The heating cables themselves are protected by dense metal shielding, which increases their durability and allows installation in damp areas (bathroom, WC…)

QUALITY CERTIFICATE
Every single heating mat is subjected to an output load test, during which the joints are tested, insulation breakdown is measured, along with the overall cable resistance, etc...
This record of the unit tests is stated in the Quality Certificate. The product must meet the parameters 100% before it can leave the production line.
