PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Electric aluminium underfloor heating mats HAKL TPX 140 have an output of 140 W per square metre. They are connected to the electrical network using a single connecting cable 3 metres long.  For the most efficient operation, it is advisable to install a HAKL TH thermostat with a floor sensor in every room. Energy - and therefore money - savings can also be achieved by choosing the right  floor covering and sufficient thermal insulation under the underfloor heating. They are an ideal choice for renovations where it is not possible to raise the floor height and at the same time the problem of a cold floor needs to be solved. 
Before installation, the manufacturer recommends reading the installation manual carefully, where you will find a detailed description of the product and its wiring.

FLOOR COMPOSITION

Electric underfloor heating mats HAKL TPX are suitable for installation under floating laminate flooring and parquet. Thanks to their construction, they can be laid loose, without the need for embedding in adhesive. Installation is not dusty or time-consuming. The heating cables are placed between two protective aluminium foils, which increase their durability and allow even heat distribution across the whole surface. For greater energy savings and heating efficiency, commonly available foam insulation should be placed under the aluminium heating mats.

HEATING CABLE

HAKL TPX heating cables are characterised by a high-quality heating core - the resistance wire is from the renowned Swedish manufacturer KANTHAL. The sturdy aluminium foil sufficiently protects the heating cable, which can therefore be thinner (2.5 mm) and does not increase the overall floor height. When the underfloor heating is connected without a thermostat, the heating cable heats up to a maximum of 45°C; the lower temperature (compared to TF and TC cables) does not deform laminate flooring.

QUALITY CERTIFICATE

Every single heating mat undergoes a final load test, during which the joints are tested, insulation breakdown is measured, total cable resistance, etc. is checked...
This record of unit testing is stated in the Quality Certificate. The product must meet the parameters 100% before it can leave the production line.
