The 1/2" check valve, equipped with both male and female threads, is used to prevent water drainage at heights of up to 11 meters, providing a solution where standard ADV valves are not sufficient, and is ideal for use with Hunter rotary sprinklers. If you have terrain with a significant slope and already have an automatic irrigation system installed, where water leaks from the lowest-positioned sprinkler, this check valve is essential.

If you have uneven terrain with a larger slope and are installing or already have an automatic irrigation system installed, and water is leaking from the lowest-positioned sprinkler, then this check valve needs to be used.

The valve prevents water from leaking from the lowest-positioned sprinkler.
