Hydra RAH 90mcr Self-cleaning water treatment unit that achieves a high level of water cleaning by applying a self-cleaning filter with 90-micron filtration. The materials used are suitable for use with drinking water, but are NOT a source of drinking water. Cleaning HYDRA self-cleaning filters feature a backwash cleaning system for the effective removal of deposits from the surface of the cartridge. When the filter cartridge becomes clogged, it is cleaned simply by opening the valve at the bottom of the filter body. This creates negative pressure in the filter, which pushes the cartridge downwards, automatically reversing the flow of water out of the cartridge. Caution: self-cleaning of the cartridge using negative pressure is only possible at a minimum water pressure of 1.8 bar.
