Hydra Rainmaster RAH Duo A self-cleaning water treatment unit that achieves a high level of water cleaning by applying a self-cleaning filter with 90 micron filtration and final water treatment with activated carbon with a filtration rate of 25 microns, capable of removing odour and discolouration from water. This unit is designed for treating rainwater, which does not meet quality requirements for utility purposes, but can also be used for filtering water from a well or collection tank. The materials used are suitable for contact with drinking water, but are NOT a source of drinking water. Cleaning HYDRA self-cleaning filters feature a backflush cleaning system for effectively removing sediment from the cartridge surface. When the filter cartridge is clogged, it is cleaned simply by opening the valve at the bottom of the filter body. This operation creates a vacuum in the filter, which pushes the cartridge downward, automatically reversing the water flow out of the cartridge. Note: self-cleaning of the cartridge using vacuum is only possible at a minimum water pressure of 1.8 bar.
