Hydra Rainmaster RSH Trio A self-cleaning water treatment unit that allows a high level of water purification to be achieved by applying a self-cleaning filter with 50-micron filtration. Also with additional 25-micron filtration and a final water treatment stage with activated carbon at a filtration rate of 10 micron, which is capable of removing odor and discoloration from the water. This unit is designed for treating rainwater whose quality is not suitable for utility purposes, but it can also be used for filtering water from a well or a collection tank. The materials used are suitable for use with drinking water, but they are NOT a source of drinking water. Cleaning HYDRA self-cleaning filters are characterized by a backwash cleaning system for effectively removing deposits from the surface of the cartridge. When the filter cartridge becomes clogged, it is cleaned simply by opening the valve at the bottom of the filter body. This operation creates negative pressure in the filter, which pushes the cartridge downward, thereby automatically reversing the flow of water out of the cartridge. Note: self-cleaning of the cartridge using negative pressure is only possible at a minimum water pressure of 1.8 bar.
