HYDROSTOP - electromechanical protection of pumps against dry running works on the basis of monitoring the pressure at the pump outlet. Hydrostop is suitable for self-priming pumps and for most submersible pumps, it is not suitable for spindle pumps. For spindle pumps, dry-run protection such as the PC-59 control unit is suitable. For the correct use/operation of this device, a minimum outlet pressure from the pumps of 0.8 bar is required. Do not use if the water is contaminated! Hydrostop restarts manually. The advantage is simple installation using a T-piece, which is included in the package. Hydrostop protects the pump from damage. Hydrostop is also suitable for use with water pumping stations with a pressure tank and pressure switch (min. switching pressure 1.0 bar).
