Plastic clips are used to fix heating cables (or mats) during installation directly onto thermal insulation (polystyrene). The installation rod significantly simplifies driving the cable clips into the thermal insulation - fixing the cable with clips can be done while standing. Using the installation rod is especially useful for hardened insulation (extruded polystyrene), where fixing clips by hand is difficult.
The clip is driven in by pressing the palm, while the spring lifts and holds the handle in the upper position. The clips slide down under the striker along the guide profile under their own weight - to ensure reliable feeding, at least 60 clips (two bundles of 30 pcs) must be placed in the magazine.
