This brass blanking plug with a 1/4" female thread is used when installing union fittings into valve shafts, and is also used in water supply systems for the final sealing of threaded pipes. This piece made of high-quality material withstands high temperatures and pressures, however it has no sealing, so we recommend using Teflon tape during installation.

Fittings are used for shaping and mechanically joining various types of polyethylene hoses, whether LDPE or HDPE. The connection is made by compressing the clamping ring around the outer wall of the pipe, followed by sealing with a rubber ring. These connections are used as needed for branching, extending or shaping irrigation piping.
