The brass check valve with 5/4" male thread is used to hold the water column at the pump, protecting not only the pump but also the electrical source. This fitting prevents backflow of water in drinking and utility water systems, for example in a well.
The construction is all-brass with a stainless steel spring, and the valve can operate in any position. The set is firmly bonded together and consists of a brass check valve, a brass nipple, and a plastic fitting for pipes with an outer diameter of 32mm. It is a complete set directly suitable for connection to a submersible pump.
