Replacement quartz sleeve Viqua QSO-950 for UV lamp Viqua S950RL-HO
The protective quartz sleeve is located in the centre of the UV lamp housing, in the so-called reactor. It prevents direct contact between water and the surface of the UV lamp as it passes through it. As water flows around the quartz sleeve, UV rays eliminate bacteria through its wall. It is therefore important to ensure that no coating builds up on the surface of the sleeve. We recommend cleaning its surface or checking its perfect transparency at least when replacing the UV lamp bulb.
