The recommended pH value of pool water is between 6.8-7.6. This range provides the greatest effect of chlorine without side effects. The pH value affects comfortable bathing, proper equipment function, etc. pH should be checked at least once a week using a test kit. If the pH is below 6.8, increased corrosion of metal and concrete, fading of pool colors, and irritation of eyes and skin may occur. To increase the pH value by 0.2, the dose is 11 g/m3 of water (1 level tablespoon). The product is dosed to increase the pH value into the range of 6.8–7.6. It is dosed after dissolving in a container directly into the pool with the filtration system running.
