    Looking for a way to improve the look of a wall in your interior while reducing unwanted noise? The LEGI acoustic panel 60 × 240 cm in natural decor is suitable for homes, offices and other indoor spaces, where it works well as a design-attractive and sound-absorbing wall covering.

    The panel's slats are made from MDF fibreboard with a wood veneer surface. The felt is made of polyester fibre. One panel covers an area of 1.45 m2. The acoustic panels can be ordered in packs of 2 pieces (the listed price is for 1 panel).

    How many panels will I need?

    One 240 x 60 cm panel covers an area of 1.45 m2.

    From experience, we recommend buying slightly more material than the net area. In practice, part of the material is used for trimming edges, cutting out openings for sockets, aligning the slat pattern, etc.

    As a guideline, we recommend:

    +5% of the net area for a regularly shaped room without additional cutouts

    +10% of the net area for a more complex room shape (alcoves, columns, fireplace surrounds...)

    Example for 10 m2 with a regularly shaped room = 10 m2 * 1.05 / 1.45 m2 = 7.24 ≐ 7 panels

    Sturdy and safe material

    The panel's slats are made of MDF (medium-density fibreboard) with a coloured wood veneer surface. The felt is made of durable polyester fibre. Of the panel's total thickness of 2.1 cm, the felt makes up 0.6 cm and the slats 1.5 cm.

    The panels have been tested for fire reaction, heavy metal emissions and the presence of unwanted chemical substances.

    The acoustic panel is backed by laboratory test results for fire reaction, emissions and chemical composition:

    • Fire safety class D-s3,d0 according to standards EN 13823:2020+A1:2022 and EN ISO 11925-2:2020 (standard safety level, the panel is not intended for spaces requiring increased fire protection)
    • Formaldehyde emission level according to EN 717-1:2004 with result E1 (meets the safety limit)
    • Screening of unwanted chemical substances with the result "no problematic levels of monitored substances were detected"
    • Migration of heavy metals according to BS EN 12149:1998 (MDF) was not detected
    • According to the BS EN 12149:1998 test, no vinyl chloride monomer was detected

    High acoustic efficiency

    Thanks to the combination of MDF fibreboard and PET, the panel absorbs sound well, dampens echoes and softens the surrounding space.

    • Sound absorption test according to EN 15102:2007+A1:2011 and EN ISO 354:2003 with results of NRC 0.45 and average absorption ᾱs 0.46. Absorption class D (the panel effectively dampens mid and higher frequencies)
    • The test was carried out according to EN ISO 10140-2:2021 on a brick wall with a result of 52 dB (the panel effectively limits the transmission of common noise and voice between rooms)

    Easy installation without complications

    Glue or screw the acoustic panel to the wall. Load requirements are minimal, as are maintenance needs.

    Simply wipe the panels with a dry cloth, or occasionally vacuum dust from the soft base.

    Step-by-step installation guide

    Preparation before installation:

    1. Prepare all the necessary tools.
    2. Measure the height of the wall.
    3. If necessary, cut the panels to the height or width of the wall.

    Two options for wall mounting:

    • If mounting with screws, first place the wall plugs and then screw through the black felt (a total of 9 screws will be needed per panel).
    • If mounting with adhesive, apply a sufficient amount of adhesive to the panel and then press it against the wall.

    • A set of screws and wall plugs
    • or special mounting adhesive

    A circular saw will also come in handy if you need to adjust the size.

    Before buying, you can therefore order a set of samples to help you choose the right decor. 

    The set contains 3 colour samples of panels measuring 12 x 12 cm.

    Packaging and delivery method

    The panels are packed in cardboard boxes of 2 pieces. The product will be delivered to you via standard parcel shipping. 

    The exact packaging method depends on the number of pieces ordered. As a guideline, for orders of more than 10 pcs (5 cartons), we will deliver the panels via pallet shipping.

    I want to order an odd number of panels...

    The panels are always packed in cardboard boxes in pairs of two, partly for protection against damage during transport. If you need to order an odd number of panels, please do not hesitate to contact us.
