    Are you looking for a way to improve the look of a wall in your interior while also reducing unwanted noise? The LEGI acoustic panel 60 × 240 cm in brown decor is suitable for homes, offices and other indoor spaces, where it serves as a visually attractive and noise-reducing wall covering.

    The panel's slats are made of MDF fiberboard with a wood veneer surface. The felt is made of polyester fiber. One panel covers an area of 1.62 m2. Acoustic panels can be ordered in packs of 2 pieces (the price shown is for 1 panel).

    How many panels will I need?

    One 270 x 60 cm panel covers an area of 1.62 m2.

    From experience, we recommend purchasing slightly more material than the net area. In practice, part of the material is used for trimming edges, cutting openings for sockets, aligning the slat pattern, etc.

    As a guideline, we recommend:

    +5% of the net area for a regular room shape without additional cutouts

    +10% of the net area for a more complex room shape (alcoves, columns, fireplace surrounds...)

    Example for 10 m2 with a regular room shape = 10 m2 * 1.05 / 1.6 m2 = 6.56 ≐ 7 panels

    Sturdy and safe material

    The panel's slats are made of MDF (medium-density fiberboard) with a colored wood veneer surface. The felt is made of durable polyester fiber. Of the panel's total thickness of 2.1 cm, the felt makes up 0.6 cm and the slats 1.5 cm.

    The panels have been tested for fire reaction, heavy metal emissions and the presence of unwanted chemical substances.

    The acoustic panel's laboratory test results for fire reaction, emissions and chemical composition are documented:

    • Fire safety class D-s3,d0 according to standards EN 13823:2020+A1:2022 and EN ISO 11925-2:2020 (standard level of safety, the panel is not intended for spaces requiring increased fire protection)
    • Formaldehyde emission level according to EN 717-1:2004 with result E1 (meets the safety limit)
    • Screening for unwanted chemical substances with result "no problematic levels of monitored substances were detected"
    • Migration of heavy metals according to BS EN 12149:1998 (MDF) was not detected
    • According to the BS EN 12149:1998 test, no vinyl chloride monomer was detected

    High acoustic efficiency

    Thanks to the combination of MDF fiberboard and PET, the panel absorbs sound well, dampens echo and softens the surrounding space.

    • Sound absorption test according to EN 15102:2007+A1:2011 and EN ISO 354:2003 with results NRC 0.45 and average absorption ᾱs 0.46. Absorption class D (the panel effectively dampens medium and higher frequencies)
    • The test was carried out according to EN ISO 10140-2:2021 on a brick wall with a result of 52 dB (the panel effectively limits the transmission of common noise and voice between spaces)

    Easy installation without complications

    Glue or screw the acoustic panel to the wall. Load is minimal, as are maintenance requirements.

    Simply wipe the panels with a dry cloth, or occasionally vacuum dust off the soft surface.

    How to install step by step

    Preparation before installation:

    1. Prepare all the necessary tools.
    2. Measure the height of the wall.
    3. If necessary, cut the panels to the height or width of the wall.

    Two options for mounting on the wall:

    • If mounting with screws, first place the wall plugs and then screw through the black felt (a total of 9 screws will be needed per panel).
    • If mounting with adhesive, apply a sufficient amount of adhesive to the panel and then press it against the wall.

    The complete installation manual, including graphic illustrations, is also included in the package.

    • A set of screws and wall plugs
    • or special mounting adhesive

    If you need to adjust the size, a circular saw will also come in handy.

    Before purchasing, you can therefore order a set of samples to help you choose the right decor. 

    The set contains 3 color panel samples measuring 12 x 12 cm.

    Packaging and delivery method

    Panels are packed in cardboard boxes of 2 pieces. The product will be delivered to you by standard parcel shipping. 

    The exact packaging method depends on the number of pieces ordered. As a guideline, for orders of more than 10 pcs (5 boxes), the panels will be delivered by pallet shipping.

    I want to order an odd number of panels...

    Panels are, also for protection against damage during transport, always packed in cardboard boxes in sets of two pieces. If you need to order an odd number of panels, please do not hesitate to contact us.
