Loctite 577 by HENKEL is a special non-toxic sealing paste designed to seal pipe threads up to size M80 / R3". It is a top-quality single-component thread adhesive with anaerobic curing and medium strength, designed to seal water, gas, compressed air, LPG and other gas or liquid pipelines.
Loctite 577 cures in the absence of air in the joint and resists vibration and impact, and is particularly suitable for stainless materials. Loctite 577 thread sealant is non-toxic, as confirmed by certification from numerous gas and water utility institutions.

Loctite 577 offers an excellent solution in many areas of the gas, water, manufacturing and industrial sectors: securing threads even at low temperatures, bonding threads even on passive surfaces, demountable threaded joints using standard tools, safe sealing of threaded pressure pipe joints, suitable for use on stainless steel without the need for surface activation, sealing of hydraulic, pneumatic, water and gas pipes, etc.

Loctite 577 thread sealant has a high (thixotropic) viscosity, does not shrink, does not extrude or release any particles into the pipe (does not clog the piping system), and is also ideal for pipes in air-conditioning systems or coarse metal threads.
