Detailed description The dirt trap ensures clean circulation and no clogging (no local overheating) and also ensures the installation is degassed (a low air content means quieter operation and reduced corrosive properties of the water). One of the factors affecting the failure rate of water installations is the presence of impurities, which have a significant impact on the quality and correct functioning of the system, as well as on the lifespan of individual components. These contaminants are the so-called magnetic sludge, which forms during the active operation of the system as a result of electrolytic and chemical processes in the water. The negative effect of sludge is a reduction in the efficiency of heat transport in heating systems and a reduction in the efficiency of the circulation pump itself. For comprehensive protection of the pump against the negative effects of impurities (magnetic sludge) and air in the installation, it is recommended to install a dirt separator.
