The I-005 5/4" magnetic filter has double filtration: a 9000 Gauss magnet + a filter mesh/sleeve. The I-005 5/4" magnetic filter ensures clean circulation and prevents clogging of the heating system (no local overheating occurs). It also ensures venting of the system, which means quieter operation and reduced corrosive properties of the water. One of the factors affecting the failure rate of water installations is the presence of contaminants, which have a significant impact on the quality and correct functioning of the system, as well as the lifespan of individual components. These contaminants are so-called magnetic sludge, which forms during active operation of the heating system as a result of electrolytic and chemical processes in the water. A negative effect of sludge is a reduction in heat transport efficiency in heating systems and a reduction in the efficiency of the circulation pump itself. For comprehensive protection of the pump against the negative effects of impurities (magnetic sludge) and air in the installation, it is recommended to install a sludge remover.
