The brass 3/4" IBF-V magnetic filter has a 9000 Gauss magnet + a brass filter mesh. The IBF-V magnetic filter is designed to capture contaminants in heating, cooling and air conditioning systems and to release air from inside them. If air is left in the device, it can result in noisy and inefficient operation of the entire system. Modern systems equipped with high-efficiency components are prone to faults and reduced productivity and efficiency due to contamination in the form of sediment.
