The METRO series from Hydroland is a range of bathroom mixers with a clean cylindrical design (the so-called "Pure Chrome Design") and a strong emphasis on the quality of internal components – all models have a body made of 304 stainless steel and a 35 mm ceramic cartridge, which ensures precise, long-lasting, drip-free control of flow and temperature.

The tall version of the popular METRO basin mixer is intended mainly for basins mounted on a countertop (so-called countertop/above-counter basins), where a standard low mixer does not reach a comfortable height above the rim of the basin.

Installation: As with the low version, the mixer is passed through the mounting hole and secured with the bottom nut; the longer 60 cm hoses are designed for the greater distance to the connections typical of countertop basins.

A countertop basin sits above the level of the counter, so a standard low mixer may have its spout too low relative to the top rim of the basin - the tall version compensates for this difference.

Can this mixer also be used on a classic built-in basin?
Yes, functionally it is not a problem, but visually it may look disproportionately tall - for a classic recessed basin we recommend the low version B663 instead.

Are the 60 cm hoses long enough for most installations?
Yes, this length covers the typical distance to the connections for countertop basins; for an atypical water supply layout, an extension may be needed.
