The HydroTreat ELITE MultiPlus UNI multifunctional well water filter will provide you and your family with maximum comfort and reliability thanks to safe treated water throughout the whole household. Using the special filter media Ecomix P, the unit can remove iron, manganese, organic impurities, ammonium ions and also water hardness from the water without adding any chemicals. Thanks to this, well water becomes a commonly usable source in the household for many years.
What is Ecomix media?
Ecomix is a multi-purpose filter media specially developed for filtering well water.
Ecomix media for filter units offers a solution for removing hardness, iron, manganese, organic contamination and many ions. Ecomix media consists of five special layers of natural and synthetic materials. After filling the filter unit with water, the individual materials arrange themselves into five filter layers, ensuring reliable and stable filtering efficiency.
The Ecomix filter media is regenerated with salt, the level of which needs to be monitored to ensure a sufficient amount is available for regeneration purposes. Regeneration of the media takes place completely automatically, handled by the control head, i.e. drawing in and rinsing out the salt solution from the media. The unit is set so that regeneration takes place approximately once a week.
To ensure the correct size of the unit, you need to know the water hardness and the maximum hourly and monthly water consumption. In any case, a water analysis should also be provided. If you are interested in determining the correct size, do not hesitate to contact us.
Control head functions
Intelligent regeneration
Using a microprocessor and a precise water meter (monitoring flow from as low as 2 l/min), water consumption is monitored. The regeneration time is set so that you never run out of treated water. During regeneration, the control unit supplies untreated water.
Counter-current regeneration
Thanks to the option of counter-current regeneration, the HydroTreat ELITE Multi series treatment units are the most economical in terms of water and salt consumption on the market.
Blending
Directly on the control head, there is the option to set the ratio for blending in raw water.
Skipping the flushing
Thanks to counter-current regeneration, it is possible under certain circumstances to skip the release of the filter media (pre-programmed by Danum, s.r.o.).
Multilingual graphic display
Our devices support Czech, English, German and also Hungarian language. It communicates clearly in text format and shows the current capacity status.
