Features of CS3-4M:

is a multifunctional time relay for controlling resistive (light bulbs) and inductive loads (fans), with the option of installation behind a light switch and wiring without a neutral wire.

Eight functions of the CS3-4M:

• time delay with interruption option
• delayed switch-off (similar to CS3-1)
• multi-time relay with blocking
• time relay without blocking option
• impulse relay (control from multiple locations)
• delayed switch-on
• delayed switch-on and switch-off
• flasher

A great advantage is the linear time setting (rough via switch, fine via trimmer), wiring WITHOUT A NEUTRAL WIRE, and the setting of the following 8 functions.

Explanation of CS3-4M functions:

1. Time relay with interruption option

The load switches on and timing starts immediately after pressing the button. Pressing the button again during timing switches the load off.

2. Delayed switch-off (similar to CS3-1)

The load switches on the moment the button is released, and after the timer runs out, the load switches off.

3. Multi-time relay with blocking
The number of button presses (max. 5x) multiplies the set time. On the sixth press, the time resets to zero. If the button is pressed for approx. 3s during timing, the load switches off.  

4. Time relay without interruption option
The load switches on and timing starts immediately after pressing the button. After the timer runs out, the load switches off.  

               

5. Impulse relay (control from multiple locations)
Pressing the button switches the load on, and pressing it again switches the load off. The duration of the button press does not matter.

               

6. Delayed switch-on
After pressing the button, the set time (delay) counts down, then the load switches on, which continues until the button is released.  

               

7. Delayed switch-on and switch-off
After pressing the button, the set time (delay) counts down, followed by the load switching on. After the button is released, the load switches off with the same delay.

               

8. Flasher
When the button is held down continuously, the load switches on and off at set time intervals of 1:1.
