Non-woven mulching fabric prevents weed growth and reduces water evaporation from the soil. It is breathable and permeable to water, reducing the use of chemical agents. It is long-term resistant to sunlight and intended for multi-year use.
Description and use:
When laid on the soil, it has excellent mulching properties, meaning it prevents weeds from growing through, the soil warms up earlier in spring, and the fabric can retain the accumulated heat in the soil for a longer period, allowing for earlier sowing. Thanks to the open structure of the fabric, it allows air and water to pass through and significantly reduces unwanted evaporation from the soil, resulting in significant water savings during watering and a positive effect on the development of the root system.
Lay it on the bed a few days before sowing to allow the soil to warm up. Weigh down the edges or cover them with soil. At the chosen spacing, cut openings of 5 by 5 cm in the shape of a cross. Sow or plant into these openings.
