Non-woven mulching fabric prevents weed growth and reduces water evaporation from the soil. It is breathable and permeable to water, reducing the use of chemicals. It withstands sunlight over the long term and is intended for multi-year use.
Description and use:
When laid on the soil, it has excellent mulching properties, meaning it prevents weeds from growing through, the soil warms up faster in spring, and the fabric can retain the accumulated heat in the soil for a longer time, allowing for earlier sowing. Thanks to the open structure of the fabric, it lets air and water through and significantly reduces unwanted evaporation from the soil, resulting in significant water savings when watering and a positive effect on root system development.
Lay it on the bed a few days before sowing to allow the soil to warm up. Weigh down the edges or cover them with soil. At the chosen spacing, cut or slit openings of 5 by 5 cm in the shape of a cross. Sow or plant into these openings.
