Non-woven mulching fabric prevents weed growth and limits water evaporation from the soil. It is breathable and water-permeable, reducing the use of chemical agents. It withstands sunlight for a long time and is intended for multi-year use.
Description and use:
When laid on the soil, it has excellent mulching properties, meaning it prevents weed growth, the soil warms up sooner in spring, and the fabric can retain the accumulated heat in the soil for a longer time, allowing for earlier sowing. Thanks to the fabric's open structure, it lets air and water through and significantly limits undesirable evaporation from the soil, which means a significant saving of water when watering and a positive effect on the development of the root system.
We lay it on the bed a few days before sowing so that the soil warms up. We weigh down the edges or cover them with soil. At the chosen spacing, we cut openings of 5 by 5 cm in the shape of a cross. We sow or plant into them.
